    Digitalisation in a big insurance company

    Raziskali smo digitalizacijo v finančnih institucijah. V prvem delu smo prikazali celovit vidik digitalizacije, torej digitalne procese, digitalne produkte, digitalizacijo storitev in nove koncepte ter nove prodajne poti. Digitalizacija ima tudi velik vpliv v bankah in zavarovalnicah ter na njihovo poslovanje in ugotavljali smo, kako se to odraža na strankah. To smo tudi opredelili v drugem in tretjem poglavju. V drugem delu smo predstavili, kako pristopajo banke v Sloveniji in Evropi k digitaliziranosti poslovanja in s kakšnimi izzivi se pri tem soočajo. V tretjem poglavju smo predstavili digitalizacijo velike avstrijske zavarovalnice UNIQA, ki bo v naslednjih letih za digitalizacijo in IT modernizacijo namenila kar 500 milijonov evrov.We did a research of digitalisation in financial institutions. The first part shows the whole digitalisation perspective, meaning digitalisation of processes, products, services, new concepts and new ways of selling. Digitalisation on itself has a big impact on the banks and insurance companies in the way they do business and interact with customers, and this is what is shown in the further issues. In the second part it is shown how banks in Slovenia and Europe are managing business with digitalisation and what challenges they are facing. The third, practical part shows digitalisation in a big Austrian insurance company UNIQA. The company will spend in the next few years just for digitalisation and IT modernization over 500 million euros

    Cadastral procedures modeling with UML diagrams

    The present work focuses on the methodology that should be applied when developing cadastral procedures models using the Unified modeling language – UML. The main purpose of cadstral procedure model would be creating UML diagrams, which contain graphical elements arranged to illustrate a particular part or aspect of the system. The diagrams were drawn with CASE tool Enterprise Architect 5.0. The theoretical part is actually a presentation of UML – its history, development, goals, basic UML elements and a detailed description of diagrams used later in the practical part. In the practical part I worked on definitive boundary approval and registration procedures, which often are only a part of more complex procedures as for example a subdivision of real property. The purpose of the modeling the definitive boundary approval and registration procedures was to identify the actors that interact with the system, their roles and the activities that make up a complete and correctly executed procedure. When developing a methodology for creating the cadastre procedures models, I relied on the process I used in the practical part
